Production Operative South Molton 4 on, 4 off Temporary to Permanent Onsite Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Foundry Operatives for a well-established and busy manufacturing client in South Molton. This is an excellent opportunity to secure full-time work with a clear route to permanent employment. Working Pattern Shift: 4 on, 4 off (earlies / lates / nights). Hours: 6am-6pm / 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm. Key Duties Knock out moulds to remove shell after the casting operation. Water blast moulds to remove shell and prepare for band saw operations. Cut off castings using a semi-automatic band saw. Trim casting gates using a manual band saw. Remove residual shell material after band saw operations. Finish casting gates flush after band saw operations are completed. Rework castings to remove surplus shell and metal materials. Dry blast components to achieve a uniform matt finish. Remove hot moulds to support the casting process. Pack and identify castings for sub-contract processes. Follow strict health and safety guidelines and identify hazards. Work safely with team members to maintain strong team co-operation. Assist team members with any other activities required to complete daily tasks.
