Daily Responsibilities: Cleaning communal areas including hallways, stairwells and shared facilities Carrying out routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, removing rubbish and restocking supplies Cleaning and maintaining bin stores, ensuring they remain tidy and accessible Removing litter, leaves, dog waste and other debris from external areas Sweeping pathways and hardstanding areas, as well as supporting with winter gritting and snow clearance Cleaning lift interiors and maintaining communal fixtures Reporting repairs, health and safety concerns, tenancy issues and any areas requiring specialist cleaning Maintaining accurate records of completed works using handheld technology Ordering and safely storing cleaning products and equipment Providing excellent customer service while working within occupied residential estates Driving company vehicles safely between sites across the region Responding to emergency situations and carrying out additional duties where required Requirements of an Estates Caretaker / Cleaner: Previous experience within estate services, communal cleaning or property maintenance Good knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and health & safety procedures Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving license is essential Ability to cover multiple sites across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire Experience using handheld devices or mobile technology to record completed work is desirable Benefits for the Estates Caretaker / Cleaner: Salary of 36,850 per annum Company vehicle provided Permanent opportunity 37-hour working week Generous holiday allowance with additional leave based on length of service Excellent pension scheme Ongoing training and career development opportunities Health and wellbeing benefits Employee recognition and volunteering opportunities If you are interested in hearing more about this vacancy, please apply to the advert or send your CV.
