About You We are looking for an experienced construction Estimator who is commercially aware, technically capable and able to work effectively within a close-knit team. You will ideally have: Previous estimating experience within a main contracting environment. Experience pricing new build and/or refurbishment projects. Experience working on projects ranging from approximately 500k to 15m. Experience obtaining and analysing subcontractor quotations. Good understanding of the construction tendering and pre-construction process. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines. Experience with Conquest Estimating Software would be advantageous, although training can be provided.

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Estimator to join a growing construction business in the Essex area. This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders, managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to submission, and helping to secure profitable new work. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the construction industry, excellent attention to detail and the ability to assess projects commercially while working to tight deadlines. Senior Estimator Roles & Responsibilities Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for a range of construction projects.
