Our Client, Manchester Council, is seeking a Children's Independent Reviewing Officer to join their Team. Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour! Are you a Children's Social Worker, passionate about making a difference in your community? Do not miss out on this fantastic opportunity! Responsibilities of this role: To co-ordinate and chair Initial Child Protection conferences, and Review conferences and Children Looked After Reviews held under Sefton LSCB Safeguarding Procedure. To ensure that all conference and complex child in need minutes are of a high standard and that children and their families can contribute to the decision-making process as fully as possible. To promote the highest possible standards of professional practice, and to ensure a multi-agency approach to decision making in complex child in need meetings and child protection conferences. To deputise for the Safeguarding Manager, in matters relating to Safeguarding and Child Protection and Children Looked After by the Local Authority. To assist in the collation and analysis of data emanating from conference and review material. To maintain appropriate records and to comply with required administrative procedures. Requirements of this role: Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
