Pricing and negotiating variations and additional works. Monitoring project costs, forecasts and profitability. Managing subcontractor accounts and payment processes. Identifying commercial risks and opportunities before they become problems. Producing accurate financial reporting and forecasts for senior management. Building positive relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders. What We're Looking For We're less concerned about whether you've worked exclusively in windows and doors, and more interested in finding someone with solid commercial experience and a proactive approach. You'll likely have: Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, refurbishment, maintenance or a related sector. A strong understanding of cost control, valuations, variations and final accounts. Experience working with JCT and/or NEC contracts. Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills. The confidence to challenge, influence and build relationships across all levels. A desire to be part of a collaborative team where everyone pulls in the same direction. It Would Be Great If You Also Have Experience within social housing, planned maintenance or refurbishment. Knowledge of glazing, windows, doors, façade or building envelope projects.
