Mechanical Site Manager Location: Bristol Salary: £55,000 + Package We are currently working with a well-established and growing M&E contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join its team on a permanent basis in Bristol. The Role Reporting to the Project/Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of mechanical installations on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team to ensure the smooth delivery of projects from installation through to completion. Key Responsibilities Overseeing the installation, commissioning and maintenance of mechanical building services. Ensuring all relevant permits and site documentation are in place. Carrying out inspections and identifying any issues to ensure quality standards are maintained. Liaising with the main contractor, consultants and client representatives. Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety procedures, including RAMS, PPE and company EHSQ standards. Coordinating labour, subcontractors, plant and equipment on site. Ordering site materials and managing deliveries. Maintaining project documentation and updating progress reports. Managing project programmes and communicating any changes to the wider project team. Monitoring quality throughout the installation and supporting successful project handover. About You The successful candidate will have: A relevant mechanical trade qualification or further education qualification in Mechanical Building Services. A minimum of five years' experience. Previous experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, Mechanical Supervisor or in a similar site management role. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organisational and communication abilities. Good IT skills and experience using project documentation systems. Previous project management experience would be advantageous.
