Assistant Acoustic Consultant Location: Brighton, United Kingdom Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 25,000 - 27,000 (DOE) The Role Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be representing a leading environmental consultancy seeking a graduate-level Assistant Consultant to join their Noise, Acoustics & Vibration team . You will support projects across the built environment and infrastructure sectors, with responsibilities including: Field noise and vibration surveys. Data handling, analysis, and reporting. Environmental and building acoustics assessments. Acoustic modelling (SoundPLAN, CadnaA, NoiseMap, Odeon, Insul). Developing noise and vibration mitigation measures. About You Degree in Acoustics, Environmental/Engineering discipline (with acoustics focus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Organised, proactive, and able to manage deadlines. Full, clean UK driving licence. Desirable: Experience with modelling software, AutoCAD, or GIS packages.
