The Civils Design Manager is responsible for leading and managing all civil design activities across multiple projects, ensuring designs are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. The role provides technical leadership, coordinates multidisciplinary design teams, and ensures the successful integration of civil engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Essential Competencies: Proven experience in management and leadership qualities Track record in civil design Qualified civil engineer is preferred Strong knowledge of design codes, standards and regulations Experience in design management, project controls and engineering governance Knowledge or experience in utilities, security and or other highly regulated industries is essential Previous knowledge and design experience on National Grid and either NGT or Cadent is preferred Role & Responsibilities: Lead the planning, development, review, and delivery of civil engineering designs for company projects.
