Location Woking, Surrey Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Assemble r About the Role: Working in Assembly, this position works closely with the Production Engineering and Quality departments to assemble electronic, electrical, mechanical and electro/mechanical assemblies from drawings and/or procedures. Skills/Experience required for role of Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Assembler: Minimum 2 years assembling electronic, electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies. Trained to IPC 610 requirements and with minimum 2 years experience of soldering and crimping components and assemblies, including wiring cable assemblies and PCB s. Minimum of 2 years assembling mechanical and/or electromechanical sub-assemblies and products. Can work with minimal supervision but be team orientated. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings desirable but not essential. The job role will include: Working within a cross-trained team of experienced technical assembly staff this role will involve. Assembly of electronic, electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies from drawings and / or procedures using equipment including hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and correctly. Assembly work could include solder and crimping of assemblies or other components such as cable looms or pcb s. Testing and inspection of assemblies via procedures, jigs and fixtures General assembly work to meet monthly targets Could involve working within a dust free, clean room environment Support training of new team members when required Supports wider operational activities when required Follow company quality standards, ISO procedures, and ESD control Ensure all work meets engineering specifications and customer requirements. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area in line with 5S principles Adhere to health & safety requirements, including safe handling of electrical components and tools.
