Examine materials received from suppliers, and internal manufacture, providing reports and analysis as required. Perform visual inspection, non destructive testing (NDT), dye penetration testing and dimensional inspection of welded assemblies in accordance with requirements / drawings. Working from engineering drawings and supporting specifications, general, written and electronic instructions, inspection check sheets, standard inspection directives and procedures: perform in process, final inspection, and test operations to assure quality standards for small components of all specified material types up to finished vehicle testing, quality of workmanship and functional performance. Liaise with key stakeholders and process owners in non-conformance resolution and corrective actions. Ensure all non-conformances are fully briefed to Project Quality and Supplier Quality Engineers. Maintain personal capability in the use of MS Office suite of tools and business management tools such as SAP & Teamcenter. Take responsibility for your own routine Quality activities without supervision. Take responsibility for non-routine Quality activities with minimal supervision. Able to access, have clear understanding of and apply the Management System documentation. Support certification activity for both internal and supply chain requirements. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE UK MOD 'SC' security clearance needed (If no SC yet, RBSL will sponsor application). Excellent understanding of GD&T Auditor status or equivalent experience Experienced in the use and care of standard measurement tooling Qualified and/or experienced in non-destructive testing techniques including mechanical and visual inspection techniques, dye penetration, magnetic particle and radiographic testing. Working knowledge of Coordinate measurement equipment / laser scanning or equivalent. Strong Quality inspection experience. Qualified in an appropriate Quality related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
