What Are We Looking For? Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Semi-Skilled Operative to join us on a permanent basis, at our Muir of Ord facility. Your role will be to carry out day-to-day general labouring tasks within the yard. The role will involve cleaning/tidying duties, organising of materials to and from stores, driving and assisting other skilled personnel. Some of Your Key Duties Include: Carry out general yard duties including sweeping, tidying, waste management, and ensuring overall site cleanliness. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment safely from delivery vehicles. Support engineering and fabrication teams with the handling and preparation of components. Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report any faults or maintenance needs. Assist with the responsible disposal and recycling of scrap materials and general waste. Adhere to and promote all health, safety, and environmental procedures and regulations. What Do You Need? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work as part of a team. Ability to utilise independent judgment in the performance of duties. The ability to follow concise and clear instructions accurately.
