We are seeking an experienced DV cleared Cyber Security Architect to support a high-profile Defence technology programme delivering secure cloud, AI/ML, and DevSecOps capabilities within highly classified environments. This role will be responsible for defining security architecture, managing risk and assurance activities, and ensuring secure-by-design principles are Embedded throughout the development life cycle. Conduct threat modelling, security risk assessments, and architecture reviews. Develop security patterns, standards, and controls for secure solution delivery. Support accreditation, assurance, and compliance activities. Provide security guidance to engineering, DevOps, and platform teams. Drive adoption of DevSecOps and security automation best practices. Engage with technical and senior stakeholders to communicate security risks and recommendations. Support secure multinational collaboration and data-sharing initiatives. Requirements Active DV Clearance. Proven experience as a Security Architect within Defence, Government, National Security, or other highly regulated environments. Strong understanding of secure cloud architectures, DevSecOps, and modern security frameworks

In this role you will be deploying applications and software to cloud or on-prem environments for our many business areas. Skills and Experience Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) Infrastructure as code e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc. Experience in building and deploying large-scale applications in Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines; Container platform and orchestration systems ECS, AKS, Kubernetes/helm/Docker Experience in automation and integration tools such as Jenkins, Concourse CI or cloud equivalents Experience in scripting languages and source control Responsibilities Building and setting up development tools and infrastructure Understand the needs of project stakeholders Automate and improve development and release processes Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats Identify technical problems and develop software updates and solutions Work with other engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
