This role would suit experienced Forklift Engineers , but we are also keen to hear from candidates with transferable skills from sectors such as plant machinery, agricultural equipment, powered access, industrial cleaning equipment, HGVs, commercial vehicles, automotive engineering, or field service engineering . The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a fleet of material handling equipment across customer sites within your designated geographical area. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs. This role offers a varied workload, working on a range of commercial vehicles, motor vehicles, ATVs and off-road equipment, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and inspections to the highest standards. The Role As a Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining vehicle reliability, safety and performance while supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop. Key duties include: Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and vehicle inspections. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
