The successful candidate will play a key role in the assembly, maintenance, repair, and testing of hydraulic systems and components, ensuring equipment is delivered to the highest standards of quality and reliability. The Responsibilities Assemble, install, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, motors, and associated equipment. Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation. Conduct pressure testing and performance testing of hydraulic equipment. Strip, inspect, refurbish, and rebuild hydraulic components. Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards and company procedures. Liaise with colleagues and customers where required to provide technical support and solutions. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Essential Requirements Proven experience working as a Hydraulics Fitter, Hydraulic Technician, or similar role. Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and fault-finding techniques. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and engineering drawings. Experience repairing and rebuilding hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and motors. Good mechanical fitting and assembly skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Full UK Driving Licence (preferred). Desirable Requirements Relevant engineering or mechanical qualification. Experience within industrial, manufacturing, plant, marine, or heavy engineering environments. Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
