Who You Are You hold a full driving licence. You have a proven background in administrative roles, ideally within the highways or local authority sector. You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). You possess excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task, and a strong sense of initiative. You are a quick learner with a practical, hands-on approach and a friendly, professional demeanour. What We Offer Compensation: 15- 20 per hour (PAYE). Schedule: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Description As a Streetworks Manager, you will manage a team of Streetworks administrators who are responsible for the analysis of Streetworks charges and liaising with our client in accordance with Streetworks legislation. The TMA department are an integral section within the larger department and are a huge support function that works to protect the business from accepting liability for charges that we are not responsible for. Key Responsibilities Manage and efficiently resource the team, including weekend requirements, ensuring the office operation has adequate coverage, aligning to the field operation. Knowledge of the New Road and Street Works Act and Highway Permit Schemes is essential as well as experience of using Street Manager. Excellent communication and organisational skills to effectively lead a team and deal with queries. Ensure compliance is maintained in line with contractual KPIs. Ensure feedback is returned to client within agreed SLA's Ensure investigations carried out into charges are thorough and any rejections are in line with legislation Feed areas for improvement into other teams within the department Manage internal and external stakeholders Experience and Qualifications Experience of running and mentoring a team. Ability to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures. Excellent communication skills. High attention to detail.
