This is a permanent dayshift position , offering an excellent work-life balance alongside long-term career development. Maintaining and calibrating instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow, pH and control valves. Ensuring all work is completed in line with site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems. Completing maintenance documentation and updating SAP records accurately. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance activities. Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maximise plant availability. Acting as a mentor to junior technicians and apprentices, supporting their technical development. What We're Looking For Minimum of two years' experience as an Instrument Technician within a process manufacturing, chemical or heavy industrial environment. HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline. Strong fault-finding, calibration and instrumentation maintenance experience. Knowledge of Functional Safety or Machine Safety would be advantageous. Experience working in hazardous areas (ATEX); CompEx certification is desirable. Electrical maintenance experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Salary & Benefits Circa £55,000 basic salary. Permanent dayshift role. Excellent pension scheme with company contributions of up to 12% , depending on employee contributions. Significant overtime opportunities, dependent on plant requirements.
