CPCS Traffic Marshall Gloucester (GL4) We are currently recruiting an experienced CPCS Traffic Marshall for a long-term construction project in Gloucester (GL4) . Job Details: Location: Gloucester, GL4 Start Date: 03/08/2026 Duration: Ongoing long-term work Hours: 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour (UTR) Requirements: Valid CPCS Traffic Marshal ticket Good previous experience working as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites Strong awareness of site health & safety procedures Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Traffic Marshal Duties Managing the safe movement of construction vehicles, delivery vehicles, plant and machinery entering and leaving the site. Directing vehicles safely around designated site traffic routes. Maintaining safe segregation between vehicles, construction plant, site operatives, visitors and pedestrians. Monitoring exclusion zones, pedestrian walkways, crossing points and restricted areas. Ensuring all access and egress routes remain clear, controlled and free from obstructions. Supporting the site logistics plan and following all traffic management procedures. Reporting unsafe vehicle movements, damaged barriers, blocked routes, near misses and other health and safety concerns. Ensuring emergency access routes are kept clear at all times. Carrying out general gateperson, vehicle control and site logistics duties when required. Following site-specific RAMS, risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work. Attending site inductions, daily briefings and toolbox talks. Complying with all site health and safety procedures and wearing the correct PPE at all times.
