Key Responsibilities Support teachers and tutors in delivering high-quality, inclusive education for students with autism Assist in the implementation of school policies, procedures, and individualised education plans Provide targeted one-to-one and small group support to enable students to access the curriculum with increasing independence Promote students' physical, academic, social, and moral development Organise and maintain engaging classroom environments, including resources and displays Contribute to the preparation and upkeep of student documentation, such as Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Communication Profiles, Risk Assessments, and Pastoral Support Plans Work collaboratively with staff to ensure student safety both on and off-site, in line with risk assessments Contribute to the school's ongoing development, improvement plans, and wider initiatives About You We're looking for someone who: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at minimum Level 4 (Grade C) Has experience working with pupils with autism and/or challenging behaviour Can work independently and as part of a team Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written Is adaptable, patient, and proactive, committed to helping pupils achieve their potential About Us Baston House School is an independent day specialist school in Bromley, Kent, supporting children and young people aged 5-19 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and associated needs.
