What You'll Be Doing: As part of our CNC machining team you'll be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC Lathes and Machining Centres, producing precision-engineered components to exact customer specifications. Your responsibilities will include: Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC Lathes and Machining Centres. Writing and editing Mazatrol and ISO programmes. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Selecting tooling, fixtures and machining strategies. Producing components to tight tolerances. Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections. Using precision measuring equipment to verify quality. Optimising tooling and machining processes to improve cycle times. Working closely with colleagues to continually improve production efficiency. Experience within an ISO9001 manufacturing environment. Desirable: Mazatrol programming. Aerospace or precision engineering experience. Apprenticeship or recognised engineering qualification.
