Order Processor Location: Kent Salary: Competitive (DOE) Order Processor Window and Door Sector - Previous Experience Required An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Order Processor to join a successful and growing business within the uPVC windows and doors industry. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience processing orders from survey through to manufacture, with a strong understanding of uPVC windows and doors, technical drawings, surveying information, and order processing. You will work closely with customers, surveyors, production, and installation teams to ensure all orders are processed accurately and efficiently, helping to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Process customer orders accurately using industry-specific software and internal systems. Review survey information and technical drawings to ensure manufacturing accuracy. Interpret window and door specifications, dimensions, and product configurations. Ensure all orders are entered correctly and meet customer requirements before production. Liaise with surveyors, production, installation teams, and customers regarding order progress. Resolve technical queries and identify discrepancies prior to manufacture. Amend and update orders where required following survey changes. Work closely with purchasing and production teams to ensure materials are available. Monitor order progress and communicate updates to customers and internal departments. Maintain accurate order documentation and records. Provide technical and order-related support to the sales team. Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the order process. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as an Order Processor, Technical Order Processor, Project Administrator, or similar role within the window and door industry. Strong knowledge of uPVC windows and doors. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and survey information. Previous experience reviewing site surveys and manufacturing specifications. Order processing experience within a manufacturing environment. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with customers and internal teams. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Office and order processing software (Business Micros experience would be advantageous but is not essential). Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment. What's on Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
