Our Ideal Candidate should: Hold a Level 3 in Children's Residential Childcare Qualification (or equivalent). Either hold or be committed to completing their Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management. Have a minimum two years' experience working in a residential environment. Adept in compiling risk assessments, weekly and monthly reports for both the home and the young people & Children. Knowledge of legislation and Ofsted requirements. Passionate in working with young people who may demonstrate behaviours that challenge. Knowledge of children's home regulations and quality standards. Lead a team, ensuring to be a visible presence. Have excellent communication and report writing skills. Have experience leading and motivating a staff team. Be flexible and willing to go the extra mile to ensure children have the best outcomes.
