To perform stock checks as required and investigate and resolve all discrepancies found. To collate information from the section or computer system as required by the Shared Service Centre Manager or Supplies Manager. To supply and fit uniform to all staff. To liaise with the Shared Service Centre Manager concerning all routine order/invoice matters. To progress and chase purchase orders. To check invoice submitted against orders raised by the section and to clear invoices for payment on proof of delivery. To input details of all transactions to the computerised system. Operate a good housekeeping policy, ensure a tidy work area and safety system of work within the section. Prepare and input data into the computer, ensuring the accuracy of the information. To assist in the training of new staff in the section on the computer system. Receive customers, visitors, drivers and telephone enquiries. To ascertain and fill the relevant requirements whilst maintaining the security and integrity of the supplies section. Undertake general stores maintenance including stock relocation, stock checking procedures and ensuring a safe and tidy working area.
