We re Hiring: Project Manager Major Government Tender Delivery Structured Network Technology Ltd (SNT) Following SNT s successful award of a major government tender, we re expanding our delivery team and looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the mobilisation and delivery of secure telecommunications and passive infrastructure works across government and Defence environments. The right person will have an essential understanding of ECRs, relevant JSP installation guidelines and SCIDA requirements, with a formal SCIDA qualification considered desirable. About the Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join SNT at a key stage of growth, working on nationally important infrastructure projects across secure, operational and geographically dispersed sites. We re looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned work packages from survey and scope development through to planning, delivery, commercial control, assurance and handover. The role would suit a confident project professional with experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, fibre infrastructure, secure network installation or a similar technical delivery environment. What You ll Be Doing As Project Manager, you ll be responsible for coordinating and delivering SNT work packages under the awarded programme, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client, technical, commercial and security requirements. You ll be involved in: Planning and leading site surveys across secure government and Defence environments. Developing clear scopes of work, delivery packs and technical recommendations. Coordinating structured cabling, fibre, passive network infrastructure and associated site works. Managing programmes, lookaheads, resources, procurement and delivery schedules. Working closely with clients, site contacts, field teams, subcontractors and suppliers. Tracking project risks, actions, commercial changes and delivery progress. Supporting testing, certification, quality assurance and handover documentation. Helping SNT deliver consistent, compliant and high-quality outcomes across the awarded programme. What We re Looking For We re interested in speaking with Project Managers who have a strong technical delivery background and the confidence to operate in controlled, safety-focused and security-conscious environments. Ideally, you ll bring: MOD, Defence, secure government estate or critical national infrastructure experience. Project management experience within telecoms, structured cabling, fibre, engineering, construction, utilities or Defence infrastructure. A strong understanding of site surveys, scope development, planning and technical coordination. Experience managing subcontractors, field teams, suppliers and multi-site delivery activity. Good commercial awareness, including budget control, change management and risk tracking. Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients, site teams and senior stakeholders. A structured approach to documentation, compliance, quality and assurance. Essential understanding of ECR processes, relevant JSP installation guidelines and SCIDA expectations for secure government and Defence environments. Current SC clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain the required clearance.
