Senior and Principal Security Architects 50- 90 per hour (Dependent on experience and level) - Inside IR35 12 month contracts Hybrid - 2/3 days a week on site - Warton (PR4) Applicants must have the right to work in the UK Successful applicants must be eligible for SC/DV clearance Role Purpose / Overview Highly experienced security architects with strong technical credentials across enterprise, cloud, network and classified environments. Responsible for designing end-to-end secure architectures (HLD/LLD), leading Design Authorities and Technical Design Authorities, and providing architectural assurance across multi-supplier programmes up to TOP SECRET / Above Secret classifications. Ensures Secure-by-Design principles are embedded from the outset across all programmes. Our Telecoms client is looking for a Solution Architect/Network Design Architect that will be responsible for technical design and implementation SD-WAN services to the DCC. This is a contract role initially for 6 months with good possibility of extension. The rate is £300 per day outside IR35. This role can be either based in London or Manchester with Travel approx. Once a week, depending on customer requirements. Please note that candidate needs to either hold SC clearance or be eligible for one. Required skills and experience: * Leadership of customer solution integration is essential. * Palo Alto deployment experience (SD-WAN) * Experience in the utility sector is preferable * Customer engagement and interaction skills * Ability to generate quality documentation * Excellent knowledge of delivering network designs, IP-VPN, Cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS). * Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and routing * Good to general understanding of SD-WAN technologies ideally Fortinet * Knowledge of Equinix services eg Equinix Fabric. Deliverables: * Responsible for the technical design and implementation SD-WAN services to the DCC * Manage/support/technical authority for customer circuit order forms to enable clean ordering process for VF * Engage and participate in the full life cycle of orders, supporting project manager * Technical lead and participate in the delivery of circuits and SD-WAN services. * Troubleshoot and remediate network connectivity during testing across environments * Collaborate with relevant internal/external parties where & when required * Travel to customer sites for meetings as necessary * Produce appropriate design documentation Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
