The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing and transporting drainage liquids (effluent, foul/storm water etc) in tanker to various tipping facilities. As a leading provider of drainage solutions, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service and innovative repair techniques to our clients. We have a number of National contracts / clients. This role would be based out of our Bristol depot, you would mainly be covering the South West and Midlands. All travel is paid and a contracted 45 hour week contract with plenty of overtime opportunities. Duties: Safely operate tanker vehicles to transport liquids Load and unload following safety procedures Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance Adhere to all relevant driving laws and regulations Skills: Must has a Full UK Driving license with Class 1 Must Hold a valid CPC ADR licence desirable At least 2 years experience as a HGV Driver At least 2 years drainage experience Strong attention to detail and safety protocols What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package. Category C Class 2 Driver required to operate vacuum tanker for a sewage company located in Dunsfold. Responsibilities include: Driving and operating liquid waste tankers throughout the South East and on occasions, other areas of Hampshire and Kent in a safe and proper manner, in accordance with Company policy, procedure and legislation. To pump out sewage systems, pump stations, storm water facilities and other similar holding tanks, and dispose of loads at various water treatment sites Use of an iPhone and iPad, messaging and email, to keep office staff and customers up to date with daily progress Provide a professional, safe and fuel-efficient driving service After each completed job then all relevant paperwork and correspondence must be completed Carry out vehicle checks and complete defect reports prior to the operation of any vehicle Be able to respond to emergencies in a timely manner, whilst reorganising your work load efficiently. You must have: A polite and courteous manner Good communication skills Flexibility to work outside of core working hours Have a good understanding and appreciation of vehicle mechanics The ability to self-manage and use initiative for solving problems as this is an isolated role.
