Key responsibilities include: Supporting the General Sales Manager in delivering New Car sales targets, profitability objectives, and manufacturer performance standards Monitoring sales performance, activity levels, and key performance indicators across the team Coaching and developing New Car Sales Executives to improve customer engagement, conversion rates, product knowledge, and process compliance Acting as a visible and supportive presence within the showroom and leading the New Car Sales operation in the General Sales Manager's absence Structuring deals and supporting Sales Executives with complex transactions where required Presenting and overseeing finance, insurance, and add-on products in a compliant and customer-focused manner Working with finance providers and lenders to secure suitable funding solutions for customers Supporting vehicle part-exchange appraisals and deal profitability Maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales pipeline activity Ensuring leads, enquiries, appointments, and follow-up activity are handled effectively Monitoring deal files and finance documentation to ensure compliance Supporting new vehicle ordering, pipeline management, stock availability, and manufacturer forecasting processes Handling customer escalations professionally and promptly Maintaining manufacturer standards, process compliance, and customer satisfaction performance Supporting local marketing activity and dealership events What We're Looking For We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate: Previous experience as a Sales Controller, Business Manager, Transaction Manager, F&I Manager, or Senior Sales Executive A successful track record in automotive retail sales Strong understanding of finance and insurance products, sales processes, and compliance requirements Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting Sales Executives A structured and organised approach to managing performance and customer activity Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills Confidence working with CRM systems, sales processes, and dealership operating standards A professional, customer-focused approach Experience with Renault or Dacia products would be beneficial but is not essential. Licence Requirement A full UK driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles) is essential for this role. Senior Manager needed for this in-house team. Your new role Are you a recently promoted Senior Manager looking to make an in-house move? Are you looking to work with an excellent Head of Tax in a small but collaborative team? Do you have recent real estate, renewable or infrastructure exposure. If so, then this role is for you. As the Senior Manager Investment Tax you will support the Head of Investment Tax with the provision of effective transactional tax advice to our Investment teams. This will incorporate providing advice and/or overseeing the delivery of third party advice across a number infrastructure and renewables investments, UK real estate investments, and global private equity investments. It will also include supporting on investments into traditional funds. The transactional support will encompass tax structuring and tax due diligence, review and input into transactional documents, working with investment colleagues to understand and input into tax assumptions as part of the underwriting process. You will also support colleagues by answering ad-hoc tax queries on prospective projects as well as responding on ad-hoc queries The role will also have responsibility for oversight of UK tax compliance for portfolio companies with a direct report who you will have oversight of, supporting in the delivery of the UK tax filing obligations. The person The successful candidate will have a relevant Tax and/or accounting qualification, alongside experience of working in a deals team/real assets team and good awareness of tax issues relevant to these asset classes. Exposure to a range of UK taxes (inc. corporation tax, VAT, CIS, SDLT) and different types of investment holding entities, is key for this role and experience of US tax implications of investing into private equity funds would be desirable.
