We are on the hunt for a Residential Childcare Tutor to join a leading skills provider, who deliver apprenticeships across the UK. Are you passionate about developing the next generation of Residential Childcare professionals? We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Personal Tutor (Residential Childcare/CYPF) to support and inspire learners working towards their work-based qualifications. In this rewarding role, you'll use your industry expertise and passion for learning to guide, coach, and motivate learners throughout their apprenticeship journey. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging teaching and learning sessions using a variety of delivery methods Manage and support a caseload of learners, ensuring progress, retention and achievement Conduct regular reviews with learners and employers in line with ESFA and learner journey requirements Provide constructive and impactful feedback to support learner development Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA) ensuring portfolios are complete and learners feel confident Use digital learning resources and platforms to support off-the-job and workplace training Identify and remove barriers to learning, supporting learners to stay on track Promote progression opportunities for learners to continue developing their careers Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with internal processes and funding requirements Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people Requirements: Level 3 or 5 qualification in Residential Childcare Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent) or willingness to work towards Teaching qualification (AET, CET, PTTLS or equivalent) or willingness to work towards GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade A-C) Experience working within a Residential Childcare / CYPF setting (ideally at a supervisory or managerial level) Ability to engage, motivate and influence learners from diverse backgrounds Knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent and the apprenticeship landscape Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines and targets Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Access to a car and the ability to travel for learner observations, team meetings and 1:1s Benefits 25 days annual leave - increasing with length of service and 8 bank holidays Holiday purchase scheme Performance based bonuses Up to 3 days of paid volunteering leave and corporate conscience initiatives Recognition and long service awards to celebrate our colleagues' Perkbox - a suite of discounts, lifestyle benefits and wellness tool 3% matched Employer Pension contribution Enhanced Maternity leave after 2 years of service Income protection and Life Assurance CPD and training opportunities 4pm Friday finish with flexible working opportunities available Flexible and supportive team and with a great culture Employee Assistance Programme, with a dedicated People Team to support all colleague

Due to a vast company expansion, we are looking to increase our motivated, enthusiastic, and committed Assessment team. Job Types : Full-time (40hrs), Permanent Location: Rotherham (S63) Salary: Between £25,000 and £32,000 dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience The role: As an Assessor you will be responsible for: Assessing Level 3 Diplomas in Residential Childcare; Children and Young People's Workforce or Management and Team Leading qualifications.
