Shift: Saturday and Sunday Hours: Saturday 6am starts Sunday 5am starts Pay Rate: 14.60 per hour PAYE Location: Crewe, CW1 Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate The role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. We require HGV Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC you will be delivering goods to a client stores throughout the UK. Your day will generally consist of up to 3 drops and 1-2 collections. Some manual handling is involved. We can offer a Monday to Friday work with start times between 02:00 - 05:00 .
