About the role We are looking for an experienced Cabling & Infrastructure Engineer to undertake structured cabling and network infrastructure installations across our customer sites. The primary focus will be installing, terminating, testing and maintaining Cat5e and Cat6 structured cabling. The successful candidate should also be comfortable installing communications cabinets and working with switches, routers, wireless access points and other network equipment. Experience with fibre cabling and wireless point-to-point installations would be particularly valuable. Previous exposure to CCTV or access-control systems would be useful but is not required. This is a hands-on field position requiring someone who can complete installations neatly, safely and professionally while working independently at customer premises. Key responsibilities Structured cabling Install, route and terminate Cat5e and Cat6 structured cabling through offices, warehouses, ceiling spaces, floor voids and suitable containment. Install trunking, conduit, cable baskets, network outlets, modules, patch panels and RJ45 connectors. Install and organise communications cabinets, racks, patch panels and cable-management equipment. About the role We are looking for an experienced Cabling & Infrastructure Engineer to undertake structured cabling and network infrastructure installations across our customer sites.
