You should have at least two years' experience working in children's residential care, with previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, Senior Residential Support Worker or in a similar leadership position. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is desirable, as is experience with PMVA/MAPA, behaviour management or leadership and management qualifications.
