Role Overview proAV is a leading global audio-visual integrator, providing AV and event services across a wide range of client partnerships. We are looking for an experienced Senior AV Technician to lead the day-to-day AV service at a key client site in Birmingham. As the sole onsite technician and proAV's primary representative, you will combine hands-on technical support with meeting and event support, proactive room checks and coordination of specialist proAV teams. This is an autonomous, client-facing role for someone who takes ownership, builds trusted relationships and wants to help shape a new managed AV service. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Service Ownership Act as proAV's primary onsite representative and first point of contact for AV-related matters. Deliver a professional, responsive service and build trusted relationships with client stakeholders. Own service issues from first report through to resolution, keeping users and the AV Manager updated. Understand how the client uses its spaces and technology and anticipate future requirements where possible. Technical Support & Operational Assurance Provide first and second line support across the AV and Unified Communications estate, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, presentation systems and digital signage. Troubleshoot technical faults and resolve them independently or escalate with clear information to specialist teams.
