Our client is looking for someone hungry rather than someone who has done it all before. If you're a graduate with the right attitude, a couple of years into a sales career and ready for more responsibility, or coming off the tools and out of a contractor background with an eye on the commercial side - this could be the move that sets up the next ten years of your career. You'll get a defined patch, a strong product range that sells on its own merits, and the training and support to learn the market properly. What you bring is the work ethic and the personality. About the Company Our client is one of the UK's leading independent manufacturers of pitched roofing products, and one of the largest producers in the country by volume. The business has roots stretching back well over a century and has been manufacturing under its current name for close to forty years - so there's real pedigree here, alongside the agility and quick decision-making of an independent. Everything is made in the UK across multiple manufacturing sites, giving full control over quality and lead times. The range covers an extensive line-up of tiles and fittings for both housing and commercial projects, plus dry fix systems, ventilation products, underlay and in-roof solar. Their products sit on schemes for every major national housebuilder, as well as local authorities, care home providers and large commercial developments. They're serious about doing things properly - responsible sourcing certification, ISO accreditation across quality, environment and health & safety, RIBA-approved CPD for specifiers, and a net zero commitment set a full decade ahead of the national target. And they're serious about their people, from a well-funded charitable giving programme to a long list of employees who've stayed well over a decade. It's the kind of business people join and don't leave. The Role As Sales Executive, you'll take ownership of the Northwest territory - Manchester, Burnley, Liverpool and the surrounding areas - selling the full pitched roofing range across a genuinely varied customer base.
