TechOps / Application Support Manager Job Description TechOps / Application Support Manager required to take ownership of technical operations across a large-scale, multi-site technology estate. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining team management with direct responsibility for infrastructure, networking, monitoring, and operational support. You'll lead a small team of engineers, drive operational excellence, improve monitoring and incident management processes, and act as the senior escalation point for complex technical issues. You'll also play a key role in the deployment and support of IoT devices, networking equipment, and edge technologies across distributed locations. Key Requirements: 6+ years' experience in Technical Operations, Infrastructure, IT Support, or Field Engineering. Previous people management and team leadership experience. Strong networking knowledge (VPNs, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, routing). Experience managing distributed technology estates and IoT devices. Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Comfortable working with remote monitoring, device management tools, and CLI/SSH environments. Strong documentation, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills. Desirable: Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, and operational data analysis. Jira Service Management administration. Microsoft 365 administration. ITIL certification.
