Identify and resolve issues during testing using a practical and proactive approach. Perform fettling of small and large pump components, preparing them for the next stage of production. Shape and finish impellers and other components using a variety of hand-held power tools. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, checklists and visual aids. Complete dimensional inspection records, pressure test reports and quality documentation accurately. Operate overhead cranes and forklift trucks to move large or heavy components safely around the workshop. Load and unload deliveries and dispatch vehicles when required. Support the Pump Assembly Team with component sub-assemblies, painting and fettling activities as needed. Assist with the construction and removal of bespoke test assemblies. Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and Welfare procedures at all times. Undertake any other reasonable duties required to support workshop operations. About You Experience & Qualifications Previous experience within a mechanical assembly, fitting or manufacturing environment. Experience working to production schedules and deadlines. Pressure testing experience or similar mechanical testing experience is desirable. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience completing manufacturing, inspection and quality-related documentation. Overhead Crane certification is advantageous (training can be provided).
