Your new company An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a well-established organisation with a strong focus on delivering value, compliance, and continuous improvement. Operating within a regulated environment and working on a hybrid basis, this role offers the opportunity to influence strategic procurement decisions and lead high-value sourcing activity across a diverse portfolio of spend categories. Your new role As Procurement Manager, you will lead end-to-end procurement activity, working closely with stakeholders to develop effective sourcing strategies and deliver compliant procurement solutions. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing procurement strategies across categories including HR, Finance, Marketing and a range of Indirect spend. Managing the full procurement lifecycle, from market engagement and tendering through to contract award and implementation. Providing procurement expertise and commercial guidance to stakeholders across the organisation. Leading competitive tender exercises and supplier engagement activities. Ensuring compliance with public procurement regulations, governance requirements, and internal policies. Managing contract lifecycle activities, including contract renewals, extensions, and supplier performance. Maintaining accurate procurement and contract records while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. What you'll need to succeed Proven experience delivering complex procurement projects within a regulated or public sector environment. You will be fully conversant with PA23 with TPP certification secured Strong knowledge of public procurement regulations and procurement best practice. Experience developing category strategies and managing competitive tender processes. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills. Strong analytical and commercial capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
