Key Responsibilities Build and configure Amazon Connect contact flows, queues, routing profiles, and hours of operation Build integrations between Amazon Connect and downstream systems (CRM, WFM, ticketing platforms) via APIs and Lambda Develop and maintain Lambda functions supporting Connect contact flows (Node.js/Python) Configure and tune Amazon Lex bots for self-service and IVR automation Implement reporting and analytics via Connect Contact Lens, CloudWatch, and Kinesis data streams Write and maintain infrastructure-as-code where the engagement requires it (CloudFormation/CDK/Terraform) Unit test and support UAT for developed components, resolving defects raised during test cycles Document build configuration and handover materials for support teams Work from architecture designs provided by the Solution Architect, flagging any design/build gaps early Required Experience Prior experience in a partner/consultancy delivery environment (sub-contract delivery, working to third-party SOWs) Demonstrable hands-on build experience in Amazon Connect (not just AWS generalist experience) Strong Scripting/development skills in Node.js and/or Python for Lambda-based development Experience with Amazon Lex, Contact Lens, and Connect APIs Working knowledge of AWS services commonly used alongside Connect (DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, EventBridge, IAM) Experience integrating with third-party CRM/WFM/telephony platforms via REST APIs Comfortable working in an agile delivery environment with sprint-based delivery and defect tracking Amazon Connect Developer, £475 - 525 per day Inside IR35 3 months rolling, Remote Working
