Operational Support Match available stock to upcoming work programmes and replacement schemes. Support local teams with stock allocation decisions. Help maintain a centralised surplus stock register. Contribute to wider business efficiency initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Build strong working relationships with Depot Managers, Stores Teams, Operational Managers, and Heads of Operations. Provide clear updates on stock availability and opportunities for redeployment. Challenge inconsistencies and ensure asset information remains accurate. Escalate issues where ownership or stock allocation requires clarification. Reporting & Governance Produce weekly progress updates. Track the value of identified, redeployed, and returned stock. Maintain accurate central trackers and governance records. Ensure all stock data is recorded consistently and accurately. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Essential Experience in stock control, inventory management, asset auditing, stores, warehousing, or a similar role. Comfortable working within depot, warehouse, engineering, or operational environments. Strong Excel and data-entry skills. Ability to work independently across multiple locations. Full UK Driving Licence - Company car provided for business use throughout the contract. Desirable Utilities, engineering, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain experience. Knowledge of electrical network assets such as transformers, switchgear, or cabling. Experience using SAP, inventory systems, or asset management databases.
