Prepare monthly management accounts for five depots, including supporting commentary and notes. Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including asset and stock reconciliations. Process accruals and prepayments. Prepare income reports and stock sheets. Assist with the year-end process and respond to audit requests. Support the Finance Director and Management Accounts team with ad-hoc projects and tasks. The successful Assistant Management Accountant will ideally have: Previous experience supporting month-end management accounts within a large organisation. Experience of fixed asset accounting would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Confidence working with financial systems and Microsoft Office. Good communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers. A positive, reliable, and proactive approach. The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a wider finance team.
