Hours 37.5 Role Purpose We are seeking a skilled and motivated Wet Paint & Powder Coating Operative to join our busy Paint Shop. This role involves preparing and finishing fabricated steel, aluminium and stainless-steel components using both industrial wet paint and powder coating systems. The successful candidate will work to the high standards expected by our customers across the defence, rail, nuclear and engineering sectors, ensuring every product meets strict quality specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, take pride in producing high-quality finishes and be committed to maintaining safe working practices at all times. Key Responsibilities Prepare fabricated components for painting through cleaning, degreasing, sanding, masking and surface preparation. Apply industrial wet paint coatings using conventional and air-assisted spray equipment. Apply powder coatings using electrostatic spray systems. Operate curing ovens safely and efficiently. Mix paints and coatings in accordance with manufacturers' specifications. Ensure correct paint thickness, finish and colour are achieved. Inspect components before, during and after painting to ensure they meet customer quality requirements. Identify and rectify coating defects where possible. Carry out rework when required. Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions and paint specifications. Complete production records and quality documentation accurately. Maintain paint shop equipment and ensure spray booths are kept clean and serviceable. Support colleagues across fabrication, welding and assembly departments where required. Ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved without compromising quality. MOD & Quality Standards The successful candidate will be expected to: Work to exacting customer specifications, including Ministry of Defence (MOD) standards where applicable. Follow documented paint processes and work instructions. Produce consistently high-quality cosmetic finishes. Carry out visual inspections and coating checks. Measure coating thickness where required. Support compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards. Ensure all work is completed Right First Time. MUST BE A BRITISH CITIZEN Essential Skills & Experience Previous experience in industrial wet painting and/or powder coating. Experience preparing metal fabrications for painting. Excellent attention to detail. Good understanding of industrial paint processes. Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable with a strong work ethic. Ability to work to production deadlines whilst maintaining quality.

Role: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor Salary: £35000 per annum Location: KT12 Walton on Thames or 10-mile radios Company Van provided Job purpose: This is a mobile role, travelling to various sites to supervise and manage the grounds maintenance and/or cleaning teams. Your main aim will be to supervise numerous Cleaning and/or Grounds Operatives across the client portfolio, ensuring all services are delivered to a high standard and contract specification. Job objectives and responsibilities: Making sure all teams are mobile daily. Work with the teams to coach, develop and motivate. Validate and follow company s policies and procedures (e.g. van, HSE). To carry out duties and provide cover for operatives in their absence. To supervise a number of grounds maintenance and/or cleaning operatives (mobile and static) to achieve the highest level of maintenance service to the client. To effectively carry out site inspections using our in house IT system. Ability to highlight additional service opportunities (bulk waste, graffiti, planting etc.). Ensure works are delivered to the required standards and in accordance with the set specification per contract. Performance manage your teams accordingly (both positive feedback and negative feedback, and identify skills gaps). Work closely with the Contracts Manager to effectively run the day to day operation. Manage stakeholders client, residents and internal management. Provide first line support for logistical / operational needs (consumables and equipment) Provide report on weekly absence / additional hours worked by staff to Contracts Manager. Ability to implement Health and Safety requirements to ensure safe working practices. Ability to effectively carry out quotations on request. Be prepared to work hands on as and when necessary. Personal Skills: IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps). Drivers licence essential van provided. Flexibility over working hours (resident and client meetings).
