As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation work to the highest standards of quality and safety, ensuring all work is completed in line with engineering drawings and project specifications. What you'll be doing: Installing a wide range of electrical systems and equipment onboard vessels. Routing, terminating and connecting electrical cables in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications. Installing containment systems including cable trays, brackets and supports. Carrying out electrical testing, fault finding and rectification where required. Installing and connecting electrical components such as lighting, switchboards, distribution panels, motors and control equipment. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and installation drawings. Working closely with other trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to schedule. Maintaining high standards of workmanship while adhering to all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures. Completing all required documentation accurately. Your skills and experience: Essential: Modern Apprenticeship certificate/Trade Papers (must be provided with your application).
