Position: ICT Helpdesk Technician Location: Yate Contract Type: Temporary Working Pattern: Full Time Hourly Rate: 16.62 As an ICT Helpdesk Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to their education customers. This is a customer-facing position where your ability to deliver excellent service will shine! You will be working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to the rapid changes in ICT administration and curriculum settings. What You'll Do: Provide first-line remote support via telephone and remote tools, following established processes. Handle service desk inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Conduct site visits when necessary to resolve technical issues. Utilise your knowledge of Windows operating systems, M365 products, and relevant software applications to assist users effectively. Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding service and support. Prioritise workloads to meet peak demands and ensure timely resolutions. What We're Looking For: Experience in a busy service desk environment. Familiarity with Connectwise Manage is desirable. Proficient in using remote support tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Strong understanding of IT and numeracy skills to accurately update service desk software. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
