Environment and Resources Help prepare and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment. Ensure toys, equipment and resources are clean, safe and appropriate. Support indoor and outdoor learning experiences. Team Working Work effectively with colleagues to provide outstanding childcare. Attend staff meetings, training and professional development opportunities. Contribute ideas to planning and nursery improvement. Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues. Professional Responsibilities Adhere to all nursery policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. Maintain confidentiality at all times. Promote equality, diversity and inclusion. Support the nursery in achieving and maintaining high standards of care and education. Qualifications and Experience Essential Level 2 Early Years qualification recognised by the Department for Education. Knowledge of the EYFS framework. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. Experience of working with young children in an early years setting. Desirable Paediatric First Aid qualification. Experience as a Key Person. Knowledge of SEND and inclusive practice. Skills and Attributes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
