CNC Milling Machinist - Programmer / Setter / Operator Location: Romford, Essex Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist with expertise in programming, setting, and operating 5-axis Matsuura machines among others. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in aerospace, although this is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with high-precision components and receive training on various high-tech machinery. Day-to-day of the role: Set up and operate CNC machines including Matsuura (MAM72-52, MAM72-42, MAM72-35), DMU, Mori Seki (NH4000 & 5000 DCG Horizontal Pallet, Eco line 50), and HAAS (Mini Mill, VF1, VF2, VF3). Program CNC machines to produce precision parts and instruments. Modify programs in response to problems or component specifications. Ensure machines are set up properly, working well, and producing quality product. Make calculations for programming including where materials should be cut. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise. Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
