About Our Client: Our client is an AI startup founded by flood risk engineers and researchers. Their mission is to modernise flood risk assessment by: Providing local authorities with smarter tools for planning submissions. Delivering site-specific FRAs using advanced AI capabilities. Their goal: streamline the planning system, enable sustainable development, and protect communities across the UK. Key Responsibilities: Review and approve Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs). Operate and help refine the client's AI platform. Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulators. Contribute to the development of new product features and services. What Our Client is Looking For: Chartered status with CIWEM, CEng (MICE), or equivalent. 8+ years in flood risk assessment, drainage strategy, and SuDS design in England. Knowledge of hydraulic modelling tools (e.g. Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage). Interest in the use of AI in planning and engineering. Strong communicator with proven client and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively. What Our Client Offers: Salary to 60-75k plus equity.
