Job Title CNC turning Setter / Programmer Location: Tewkesbury Salary: Starting salary 35,490 pa ( 17.50 per hour) - 40,000 ( 20.00 per hour) depending Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. 39-hour week, day shifts 8-5pm, Mon to Thurs, 8-1pm Fridays Colt precision is a growing precision engineering company based in Tewkesbury specialising in orthopaedic medical instrumentation, aerospace and the defence industries . We offer excellent development, a competitive salary, and benefits What you will be doing: In this role, you will be involved in setting and operating a variety of Fanuc controlled CNC lathes Manufacturing parts for the Medical, aerospace and defence industries. With this exciting opportunity you will also get a chance to programme and be involved in lean manufacturing projects helping to shape the future of our business. Essential skills: Time served or apprentice trained Machinist. Experience of Fanuc controls Team Player with good communication skills Problem solving "can do" attitude Desirable skills: Experience of programming Fanuc controls Experience of Doosan fixed head or star sliding head lathes Experience of programming with fusion 360 or similar software Benefits: Employee support assistance Employee cycle scheme.
