Security Engineer Location: Essex & Surrounding Areas Salary: 38,000 - 44,000 Basic + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits The Company Alecto Recruitment are representing a well established and growing Fire & Security company who are looking to recruit an experienced Security Engineer to join their team covering Essex and the surrounding areas. The Role As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and small installation works on a range of electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites. You will work independently, managing your own diary while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service. Duties Include Service, maintenance, and fault finding on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems. Carrying out small installation works and system upgrades. Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions. Performing planned preventative maintenance visits. Completing service reports and required documentation. Providing technical support and advice to customers. Maintaining excellent customer relationships. Ensuring all work complies with company procedures and industry standards. Systems Experience Experience working with a variety of manufacturers is desirable, including: Hikvision Hanwha Avigilon Paxton Gallagher Texecom Honeywell Galaxy Pyronix Orisec CSL DualCom Experience with similar systems will also be considered. Requirements Previous experience as a Security Engineer. Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills. Experience servicing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Full UK Driving Licence.
