What You will Deliver Be the dedicated finance business partner for the Axis Responsive Maintenance BU commercial and operational leaders, building strong relationships with the leaderships team and providing day-to-day financial support. Prepare monthly management accounts, providing insightful financial analysis, leading budgeting and forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making. Development of business cases to support investment and growth opportunities across the division. Report on financial matters to Axis Group finance SLT as well as support the operators of the BU with end-to-end financial management for their contracts. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the Axis Responsive Maintenance BU, ensuring accuracy, alignment with Group FP&A approach and templates, strategy, and timely delivery. Deliver clear, insightful financial analysis (including customer and job profitability) to support strategic and operational decision-making across the region. Collaborate closely with finance team members on communicating information for various internal and external reporting requirements to improve financial performance. Ensure adherence to Group accounting policies, especially revenue and cost recognition. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and any other duties or responsibilities as required by the Group Finance Controller, FP&A team and the Axis Responsive Maintenance BU leadership, including pro-active management of billing and cash collection. Supply chain governance including working closely with the account team and Procurement to align to business objectives and optimise supplier maintenance agreements. Own the Axis Responsive Maintenance BU data and ensuring its integrity for monthly reporting, FP&A & cyclical business reviews. About You Strong knowledge of management accounting principles. Commercially qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent by experience. Leading budgeting/forecasting processes. Solid understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102, including application to revenue recognition. Strong internal control environments, financial compliance, and financial performance reporting. Understanding of financial planning, variance analysis, and business case modelling. Strong business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships and influence non-finance stakeholders. Excellent analytical and commercial insight skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights. Effective verbal and written communication skills tailored to both finance and operational audiences.
