They are currently seeking an experienced communications professional to provide interim support across media relations, stakeholder engagement and internal communications Description Delivering proactive and reactive media relations activity. Identifying and developing compelling media stories. Writing press releases, media briefings, statements and feature content. Supporting press office activity and responding to media enquiries. Translating complex communications for a variety of audiences. Developing and delivering multi-channel communications campaigns. Supporting stakeholder engagement. Providing communications advice and guidance to internal stakeholders. Supporting staff engagement activities and ensuring consistency of messaging across the organisation. Working collaboratively with colleagues across communications and the wider organisation to achieve organisational objectives. Profile A successful Interim Communications Manager should have: Previous experience within healthcare, NHS, higher education or another public sector environment. A track record of delivering proactive media coverage and managing reactive press activity. Strong press office experience, including drafting press releases and handling media enquiries. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information. Experience developing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. Confidence working with senior leaders. Experience delivering communications across multiple channels, including digital and social media. A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
