Job Title: Estate Services Mobile Operative Location: North London Rate: 14.80 per hour (PAYE) / 18.71 per hour (Umbrella) Contract Type: Permanent About the Role: We are seeking an Estate Services Mobile Operative to work as part of a mobile team, covering weekends on a rota basis. You will carry out bulk refuse collections, minor repairs, caretaking duties, and operate machinery to maintain high standards across estates. Key Responsibilities: Work as part of a mobile team, including weekends, to ensure efficient service delivery. Drive and load bulk refuse collection vehicles, collecting and disposing of refuse at designated sites. Carry out minor repairs, deep cleans (using machinery like pressure washers), and general estate duties. Provide relief caretaking and assist with litter picking, manual road sweeping, and emergency clean-ups. Operate vehicles, machinery, and equipment safely, adhering to health and safety requirements. Transport goods and materials between sites as directed. Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness, and perform daily safety checks. Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe working methods to the line manager. Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance and gritting. Requirements: Experience operating bulk refuse vehicles and machinery. Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relevant to caretaking and estate cleaning. Ability to carry out minor repairs and manual handling tasks. Ability to work weekends and evenings as required. Full, clean, and valid UK driving licence with the ability to drive a tipper van and fleet vehicles.
