The Role: This role will be part of our Saab Seaeye Business Unit in Fareham. You will be responsible for leading the Integration Team in the assembly and integration of remotely operated vehicles and their supporting equipment in line with the configuration document, ensuring that all projects are completed in time and in-line with delivery schedules whilst working to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of Integration Engineering working on the Assembly, Testing and Commissioning of our underwater robotics fleet. Ensure team are trained effectively in order to integrate all assemblies and sub-assemblies to produce complete systems as per the customer specification and in accordance with company documentation. Support the overall testing of products required, proving system functionality, including all auxiliaries as per customer requirements. Provide offsite/offshore commissioning and customer support as and when required by the company or by customer. Lead the team in fault find and repair equipment as situations dictate and ensure that all faults and issues are reported in the appropriate format. Receive change requests and provide information to improve product quality or improve efficiency to support continual improvement process. Interpreting designs, engineering information and electrical drawings to assemble and test working assemblies and prototypes. Appropriate use of all relevant IT and other systems required to perform the role. Using personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in day-to-day activities and procedures within the specified role. Complying with 6S best practice and health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment. To act ethically, with integrity and in the best interest of the business at all times. To maintain a professional and supportive relationship with other departments in order to deliver business and delivery objectives or deadlines. To carry out any other duties as detailed by the Engineering Manager or his authorised representative. Skills and Experience: Previous Team Leadership experience is essential. Ability to lead a fast paced production area and ensure deadlines are being met. Strong communication skills. A minimum HNC/HND qualification preferably in Electronics. Good knowledge in the use of fibre optic termination, equipment and testing. Inspector Greenwich, SE10 Ongoing long-term contract Day shifts and night shifts required 13.67 Per hour (Weekly Pay) We are currently recruiting Inspectors to work in a busy clean production environment on behalf of a global telecommunications company. We are seeking Inspectors with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing precision work. Inspectors play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the safe and accurate assembly of electro-optical and mechanical units for subsea telecommunication equipment. This may include knowledge of fibre optic handling and splicing. Inspectors are assigned to various departments, with each role contributing to the creation of high-specification products, adhering to specific requirements. Collectively, they play a vital and unique role in the overall creation and assembly of our products. All work is carried out in an Electrostatic Protected Area. Prior experience in similar Inspection or Quality Control is required. Inspector's duties may include, but are not limited to: Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. Inspection & Quality Control: Conduct thorough inspections of electro, optical, and mechanical units to ensure compliance with industry standards, specifications, and project requirements. Inspect products for quality and identify any defects, irregularities, or inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. Review & Documentation : Review engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes and quality standards.
